"Congratulations for a fantastic race yesterday. EVERYTHING about it was first class, and you have my respect, admiration, and gratitude for it. What a super job! Anyone would expect that an inaugural event would have a few "kinks" in it – but if yesterday had any, they sure weren't visible! The support staff, police and traffic, tents, etc – were all wonderful. It's obvious that a tremendous amount of work went into this, and I'm sure I speak for hundreds of runners who had a wonderful time and are very appreciative. THANK YOU! This is truly a signature event for Manchester, and I'm already looking forward to next year."

"I ran yesterdays marathon. What a great event! You should be very proud. It was very organized and there were plenty of fluid stations. The volunteers were friendly and supportive. I loved that I was finally able to run a hometown marathon. I look forward to running it again."

"I just wanted to send my congratulations to you on pulling off a fabulous first marathon. Knowing how tough (ie critical ;-) some runners can be when it comes to races, yours seemed to go off without a hitch. The police and volunteers were terrific...friendly, great traffic control, and remarkably it was nice to see so many spectators out there on what was a beautiful day weatherwise. The course was HARD! Hills hills and more hills (much tougher than Boston, I might add) but I was entertained, challenged, nice scenery, etc. And the coordination with the towns/traffic etc is, I know, tough. But you carried it off well... So kudos to you on a job well done!! And pass along thank you to all the people/volunteers involved."

"Awesome race! A big thank you to all. It was a special day, a large and awesome crew of volunteers, fantastic police support, ... simply wonderful all around. Keep that soup challenge, too. I am hopeful all of the runners got there before they closed up! Hope to see you next year. Sore but smiling"
